Holcim (US) Inc. Administrative Assistant in Holly Hill, South Carolina
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for the coordination of various administrative and clerical activities. This role ensures the proper handling of all incoming paperwork from tanker trucks making deliveries to facility. Works closely with Customer Service Representative.
Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
Perform administrative functions including, but not limited to, answering phones, directing inquiries, opening and dispersing mail, report creation, filing, copying and perform other duties as required.
Point of contact with daily interaction with truck drivers/customers.
Monitor the sign-in records and badges for visitors/contractors.
Maintain and process all incoming/outgoing railcar and tanker truck manifests/paperwork including calculations of gallons/pounds.
Data entry of all railcar and tanker truck manifests.
Ensure proper handling and mailing of manifests return copies.
Managing and balancing of End of Month inventories.
Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required Education: High School diploma/GED
Additional Education Preferred: Associates/Technical Degree
Required Work Experience: 2-5 years
Travel Requirements : Less than 10%
Additional Requirements : Experience in Non-hazardous/hazardous Waste work environment
Required Computer and Software Skills : Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, primarily Excel and Word. SAP preferred.
