Senior Applications Development Systems Analyst
Responsible for analysis, design, programming and implementation of the most complex applications tasks and projects in the area.
Devises feasible, logical procedures to resolve business problems through the use of computer resources.
Formulates scope and objectives through research to develop or modify complex systems.
Provides technical direction and support in the development and support of business systems software and procedures.
Designs, codes, tests and debugs the most complex application programs.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or other job-related field, OR
Four years of job-related work experience, OR
Two years of job-related experience, plus an associate degree in computer science, information technology or other job-related field.
Required Work Experience
Eight years of application development, systems testing or other job-related experience.
Experience with Responsive design.
MySQL or any database experience (e.g., Oracle, Domino, etc.).
Five years of experience with website design.
Experience with (CMS - Content Management Systems).
Experience with search engines and search engine optimization.
Required Skills and Abilities
Advanced understanding of applications/development, quality assurance and integration methodologies, concepts and facilities in a mainframe, mid-range and/or PC/LAN environment.
Demonstrated high level of technical proficiency in the areas of programming languages, platform capabilities and methods of systems analysis and program design.
Advanced analysis, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated logical, abstract-thinking skills and assimilation of/adherence to project goals and deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
Extensive knowledge of interpersonal skills/team-building.
Familiarity with project management concepts.
Ability to assess requirements, alternatives and risks/benefits for low- to high-impact projects.
Attention to detail.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, vendors, etc.
In-depth understanding of organizational functions, behavior and inter-relationships.
Advanced knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages and development tools and their usage in the company.
Openness to new technologies.
Proficiency in HTML and jQuery.
