Role Summary:

This is a part-time (20 hour/week max) role, providing elearning development of existing materials that are provided by GEHC subject matter experts. Utilizes GE provided software including Adobe Connect, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Skype for Business, Audacity, Go Animate, and Snagit, and others to create video and other types of training modules. Responsible for management and coordination projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Development of elearning materials

  • May facilitate some remote sessions via Adobe Connect

  • Must have comfort working in virtual training development tools

  • May develop and input courses into GEHC’s Learning Management System, Adobe Captivate

  • Over time may have responsibilities that include training reporting, assigning and recording training, troubleshooting system issues at individual user request.

  • On occasion may be asked to develop PowerPoint presentations and other graphic presentations.

  • May run reports in excel, access, business objects and other data gathering programs.

  • May input and update data into Oracle databases.

  • May provide tactical support (answering questions on central sites and on various internal processes and e-tools).

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma, GED, or local equivalent and two years work experience.

  2. Knowledge of general office management and current computer/office communications technologies (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).

  3. Self-Starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.

  4. Effective time management and organizational skills and able to balance multiple priorities.

  5. Effectively solve problems and resolve a variety of issues and topics within the job scope.

  6. Ability to effectively interact and communicate with colleagues.

  7. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills including strong grammatical skills.

  8. Comfort with numerous software programs and quick learner of programs not currently familiar with.

  9. Must be able to self-manage to given timelines for project work.

  10. Must be willing to work Part-Time (20 hours/week max)
